We started in 2010 by Maa Upasak Guru ji (Chairman). This idea is driven by Guru ji when he went to a wedding and witnessed massive amounts of food getting wasted. In March 2013, Some local volunteers and Om Maatren Sharanam Trust gave birth to This idea – moving from a primarily philanthropic relationship to a deeply collaborative alliance.
SUPPORT FOR FOOD DISTRIBUTION
Om Maatren Sharanam Trust is a not for profit organization, designing interventions to reduce hunger among underserved communities in India.
Become an agent of change
We design interventions to ensure reliable meals for children in underserved communities where food can act as an incentive to education and skill development.
We support Slum Schools, Skill Development centres, Creches, Community Development Centres and Child Shelter Homes.
Lead a movement towards zero hunger
A network of highly passionate citizens who care deeply about the potential the future generation holds. We help mobilize food from various sources to those in need through solutions that can ensure the lack of reliable meals is never an obstacle for a future with more education, better health and better economic status.
